Vineyards

From those old vineyards descend the vine shoots with which our grandparents planted the vineyards that today offer us the best raw material in the world.

Tinta de Toro is planted in goblet-trained vines in very poor, sandy and stony soils, where the production per hectare is very low.

Tradition, climate and quality

These vineyards invite you to harvest by hand, to harvest the grapes as if they were your own child.

The viticulture, the extreme climate both in summer and winter, the tradition in the vineyard, all this is unique and also influences the characterisation of our wines.

The age of our vineyards is between 20 and 60 years. We also have localised pre-phylloxera vineyards that are more than 100 years old, but these are very rare.

Hand harvesting allows us to select the fruit, a task that will greatly influence the quality of our wines.

In short, the terroir is an unmistakable protagonist in each of our wines.
