PETIT VERDOT 2018 RAMON RAMOS
Bodega Ramón Ramos opted for the
Petit Verdot variety in 1995, choosing and classifying
soils for subsequent planting in 1998.
At an altitude of 700 m and in a very aerated area
with low humidity, it allows a natural cultivation without
hardly any treatment, thus seeking the maximum respect
for the native flora and the balance of the
vine and the terroir.
After the harvest, the best bunches are selected
to ferment in 500 L oak barrels
at a controlled temperature. Afterwards,
spends 30 months in oak barrels
American and French. Before bottling, the wine undergoes a
minimum filtration and rests for 20 months.
